  • I have solutions for all these items. I make pbj with either a spoon or a rubber spat. I melt the butter and pour it on or roll my corn in it. I dont use paper towels! And when i used to drink more canned drinks i had lowered a whole shelf in my fridge that was just high enough for a can standing up then filed them in one behind the next and could fit about 5 12pks in hat shelf at a time. If you dont need that many cans cold at once, that height of shelf is also good for shallow trays of lunch meat and cheese, small cartons like yogurt, long flat veggies like celery, carrots, and squash, and eggs.

  • I tried the corn butter knife and its junk. I used room temperature butter and after a few passes on the corn, the knife didn't hold the butter--it slid right off the corn. I fell back to my tried and true method of buttering a slice of bread and putting the corn on the bread and rolled the corn on the bread

Theres no need for that external pole bit as the internal pole itself is where the friction comes from. it therefore doesn't change the single sheet action when you get to the end.

  • Rubber spatula instead of peanut butter knife. Already in the utensil drawer. Use less expensive p towel dispenser properly with knob as your "cutting" edge. A dinner fork has the same curve as that corn butter applicator doesn't cost $10 and you really should have tested it on hot corn. Can, bottle stacker useless in frig as you can't fill total block of space. OK for table displays though.

  • I have never worker for OXO but I use to be a lead for Bed Bath and Beyond for the Kitchen area of the store. And training new hires we as a company would ask them to look out and hand pick kitchen gadgets that they personally personally could stand behind. Since a lot of our business was bridal registry we would often find ourselves recommending stuff. We as a company never wanted to just have brides and grooms to scan stuff they ultimately will return for a refund later on. We really wanted a full variety for them to take into their rest of their life. We even on slowish days where we didn’t have to stock that much and would do basically what you channel does and do tests on the floor of gadgets. Pick a product and use it in front of customers. Try to sell a few but more importantly learn whether we really want to place them on the end caps, or suggest them for registries. And apart from the Scrub Daddy which I absolutely endorse for anyone that wants a multipurpose sponge that cleans well without scratching expensive pot ware. No product line impressed me more than OXO. Everything in OXO seems pretty normal on face values. Except the details. They fine tune those so far regularly that you didn’t even know you needed their changes. They were one of the first fluid measurement cups where you could see the amount both from looking straight down or on the side. Their garlic press very early had a clean out brush for the holes, their rolling pin is freezable metal. Although you or I both can probably gripe on each OXO product some when being ultra critical I always get excited when trying a new OXO because I know they employed engineers to try to solve a problem I didn’t even know I wanted changed. And they tend to always use some of the most sturdy solid construction for basic gadgets than 90% of the market

  • Hindsight problem solved activity to test the first 2 items. Of course you had to waste a whole roll of paper towels And really you needed extended use to really show you felt there was a true difference with the Pb knife. Making PB&Js for the homeless. Starting with several cans of peanut butter. Using the gimmick knife for half the jars using a butter knife than spatula for the other half. Gauging if the uni-tasker gimmick knife was a big enough difference to add to the drawer.... than what do you do with a whole roll of paper towels unrolled at once. Napkins in the sandwich bags for the homeless. That way you truly gauged a difference for many sandwiches, and the paper didn’t go to waste.

I can see it for wine that is closed not been opened to keep them from rolling around. I usually have only two bottles of wine at a time in the fridge, one open and one not open. Maybe that is a review item for the future. Reusable wine corks... ones that don't leak on their side. ones that are easy to use, and ones that pour vs ones that don't.

  • ABC’s of SALVATION ADMIT: You’re a sinner, condemned to DEATH (physical & spiritual) . Romans 3:10, 23 There is none righteous, no, not one … For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23 & James 1:15 the wages of sin is death … sin, when it is finished bringeth forth death. (Spiritual death is eternity in HELL !) BELIEVE: that JESUS died, rose again, and that HE ALONE can save you from sin, death, and hell. Romans 10:9-10 if you: believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness. CONFESS: JESUS CHRIST, and nothing else, as your own Saviour. Romans 10:9, 10 & 13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus … confession is made unto salvation … whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Before it’s too late, forever, DO IT NOW! God’s gift is FREE and as easy as A-B-C !

  • I use a wooden skewer and insert it into one end of my newly opened butter so it looks like butter on a stick. It allows me to hold the butter without touching it and I can easily slide it back and forth on a cob of corn to butter it and I can just as easily melt however much I need in a skillet while it is heating up. I simply leave the skewer in the butter and keep it in the fridge until I need it again. Works great for me and it's way cheaper than the curved knife.

  • For a better and cheaper paper towel holder look for the ones that have a "ratcheting" sound when you turn the metal core. I have several (2 wall mounted, one table top) and they have always been a one pull, clean tear all the way down to the end of the towels. There is tension on the towel roll while you tear downward or upward, depending on which way you load your paper towels. Here is the Amazon link for the wall/underside of cabinet mount, on sale for about $15 (82% 5-star, over 17,000 reviews): www.amazon.com/Kamenstein-4554ASB-Perfect-Patented-Rounded/dp/B0024AKCTS/ I've also found them in some outlet stores like Tuesday Morning and Burkes.

  • "not good for cold peanut butter" well thats not needed to know, normal people dont store peanut butter in the fridge. no nooooooooooooooooooooo no no no noo jelly in peanut butter is FAR WORSE, jelly goes in the fridge, and molds easily when not in the fridge, whereas peanut butter goes in the pantry, AKA not the fridge, a little peanut butter in the jelly, does nothing except makes OCD people angry, whereas jelly in the peanut butter, causes the peanut butter to spoil far more quickly.

COFFEE in the sugar when you don't drink coffee!!! *Kitchen roll gadget - I think weight helps, too! His first holder was very lightweight so toppled as he pulled to tear off the roll. And it seems the 2nd holder isn't weighted enough either!! *Corn butter knife - I can do that with a fork or spoon. Lol *Fridge monkey - I've been wondering about this kind of thing! Get into the corners at the top and bottom. And a spatulal can't spread cold peanut butter that easily. The can stacker is unique doing a job nothing else could. So those two are winners for me.

This is especially effective using the heal of the bread, which most people don't like to eat anyway. I've been buttering corn this way since I was a kid. Try it! • All in one comments: 1) Stirring a full jar of peanut butter is a thing for those of us who prefer the old-fashion unsweetened stuff like Adams. Grade: A 2. Even more important than the one-hand tear is the ability to tear without touching the roll with your wet or dirty hands. Grade: A- 3. The best way to butter corn is with a piece of buttered bread. Unless you don't eat bread, this is a solution without a problem. Grade C+ 4. The reviewers are right. It needs to hold six beverage cans. Then you use two of the holders to stack a twelve pack (or two six packs) nicely. Ditto three Gatorade or wine. The pyramid is dumb. Grade: D- Other opinions may differ.
